Hikka Fest 2011 Hikkaduwa Sri Lanka

Although it was off season, the streets of Hikkaduwa were buzzing with excitement with a huge inflow of both locals as well as foreigners right throughout the city. Music was playing non stop to the people on the sides of the road whilst some ate the ever famous cheese rotti washing it down with a drink.A little further down a giant entrance to the beach was crowded with all those going for the main party on the sandy shores amidst an electrifying atmosphere with performances by Jananath Warakagoda, The Hikka drummers, Devil Dancers, Daniel Suwenda, Ben Davitt, DJ Sajad and DJ Shiyan, Blake Stryder and Saif. Following the party on the beach the revellers took of to the after party; surprisingly enough most of those present had the energy left to go on partying till the afternoon of the very next day.

The crowd could have been a bit more civilized but then again it was party so they could have been excused
